Finishes: The Hickory saplings and posts used in our furniture are available in 6 finishes with a low-sheen, satin topcoat.Natural Bark – cleaned but not sanded or stained; Dakota – lightly sanded and lightly stained; Tamarack – medium sanding and lightly stained; Black Forest – medium sanding and painted black; Sonoma – fully sanded and lightly stained. Actual samples are available upon request. (Note: Due to the inherent, natural variations of wood, differences in texture, grain and diameter may vary from piece to piece. We make every effort to match each order as much as possible but cannot guarantee it. We also cannot guarantee exact finish, dimension or upholstery matches to furniture previously ordered from Hickory Furniture.)

Case Goods and Table Tops are available in Hickory and Pine with Tamarack, Golden Oak, Dark Walnut or Black Forest Stain. Other woods such as Cherry or Oak are available with separate pricing.

Hickory Furniture offers several leather options as well as in stock fabrics that can be viewed on our website, but be aware that actual items may vary in color from photographs shown in the catalog or on the website. Samples are available upon request. Contact the factory for pricing and selection. (Note: Leather is a natural material and can be imbedded with healed scars, blemishes, or other markings that should be considered natural beauty marks that make each item unique. Color variations may occur from the dyeing process.)

Seating items are available in Rail back, Upholstery (COM), Cane, or Leather. See pricelist for available combinations. (Note: HFD Stock Fabrics, Wood Splint or Hair-on-Hide are available with additional pricing.)

All dimensions are approximate and may vary due to the construction and upholstery techniques of each craftsman.

Add rockers or casters to any chair or swivels to any barstool for an additional charge. All Barstools are available in Counter Height (seat ht 24”) or Bar Height (seat ht 30”). Add a twin or full trundle to any bed for an additional charge. Mattresses are not included with any bed.

Order Confirmations

All orders are confirmed with an Order Confirmation. It is the Customer’s responsibility to carefully review this Order Confirmation for accuracy, as this will be used as the production specifications, pricing, quantity, finish, seat and back options, ship to address and approximate shipping date. Promptly notify Hickory Furniture of any discrepancies. (Note: Ship dates are approximate. If a firm ship date is necessary, let us know. Although every effort is made to ship as confirmed, ship dates are contingent upon adverse conditions and cannot be guaranteed.)

Order Changes

All changes to an order must be made in writing and are subject to our ability to conform. Additional charges may be incurred by the customer depending upon the stage of production of the order.

Order Cancellation Policy

Any non-custom order that is cancelled will be assessed a 25% fee. In addition, any special order materials, including but not limited to, copper, metal, antler or carvings will be billed at cost. Cancellation cannot be accepted once final production has begun and order will be due in full.

Custom Orders

Once the specifications or drawing is approved, any subsequent changes requested by the customer will be accommodated to the best of Hickory Furniture’s ability and at our discretion. Additional costs may be incurred for such changes. Custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned and charges will be due in full as agreed.

Payment

We accept check or credit card. There is a 2% transaction fee for use of Visa or MasterCard. A 50% deposit is required when the order is placed. Final payment, including any freight charges, is due prior to shipment. Hickory Furniture will not release any order for shipment without receipt of final payment or proof thereof. Hickory Furniture, at its sole discretion, will allow 10 and 30 day terms to established clients. Hickory Furniture reserves the right to refuse credit. There will be a 2% late fee assessed on any order that does not meet the terms as agreed on the order confirmation.

Shipping

All pricing is F.O.B. Anderson, IN 46013, and all shipping is by common carrier based on weight and dimension unless other arrangements are made. Hickory Furniture reserves the right to select the carrier and routing and will provide best way/lowest cost freight quotation. Delivered pricing is dock-to-dock and does not include inside delivery or installation. Guaranteed delivery, specified carrier, residential delivery and lift gate service is available upon request at an additional cost from the freight company. Shipments made outside the 48 contiguous states are prepaid and allowed to port of exit. Any charges arising from failure to meet a shipment, rerouting while in transit, or carrier storage charges are additional at the customer’s expense. Charges resulting from late deliveries beyond our control are not the responsibility of Hickory Furniture.

Freight Damage & Claims

All shipments are delivered to the carrier in good condition. If a shipment arrives short or damaged, a claim must be filed immediately. Photos are required for all claims. Failure of customer’s cooperation in the claim process constitutes merchandise acceptance and a waiver of any claim. In the event of concealed damage, notify carrier and request an immediate inspection. Keep all cartons and packing material. COLLECT shipment claims are to be filed by the customer directly with the freight company. Failure to file a timely claim constitutes merchandise acceptance and a waiver of any claim. On PREPAID shipments, the customer must inspect all items upon receipt and notify the carrier as stated above as well as notify Hickory Furniture within 48 hours of any damage or discrepancies. Hickory Furniture will handle or assist in the freight claim process, but it is the customer’s responsibility to insure that the problem is reported.

Warranty

Hickory Furniture warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from receipt of goods to the original purchaser. Hickory Furniture offers no warranty on fabrics, leather, cane, wood splint or hair-on-hide. Hickory Furniture will, at its option, repair or replace any defective merchandise within the terms of the warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration or misuse. Our product line is not intended for outdoor use.A more durable finish is available at an extra cost, but is recommended for covered porches or protected areas, not full outdoor exposure. Items with this finish require regular maintenance including the reapplication of topcoat at the first sign of any degradation of the finish. Hickory Furniture warrants items with this finish for a period of one year, if maintained as stated.

All our products are handcrafted and finished. Irregularities in shapes, surfaces and finishes are hallmarks of such craftsmanship and are not considered defects. Actual items may vary in color from photographs shown in the catalog or on the website. The warranty does not apply to these variables.

Returns

No merchandise may be returned to Hickory Furniture without authorization. Any authorized return not due to damage or defect will be assessed a 50% restocking charge and all return freight charges. Under no circumstance will Hickory Furniture accept COD (cash on delivery) returns. They will be refused.
